Leaking water from bottom of door
For model number GPT225SGL0WW
Hi Linda, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our research, the issue is with the lower door seal. But the lower door seal is not sold separately. You may need to replace the entire inner door assembly, part number PS12582793, to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!

888 code not even used for 6mos.
For model number GPT225SGL0WW
Hello Tony, thank you for your inquiry. We have researched and found that the error code 888 indicates a problem with the control board. We would recommend resetting the appliance by unplugging it for 1 minute and then plugging back in. If the error code remains, then you may need to check the control board, part number PS12582725, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!

This morning, my dishwasher started filling with water as usual, but partway through the cycle, it started beeping and wouldn't continue. After unplugging it and plugging it back in, I briefly saw error codes E1 and E2. I scooped out the water from the base and unplugged it again for 15 minutes, but the issue persists. Now, I can adjust the settings (like sanitize or heavy load), but the dishwasher won't start or run a cycle.
For model number GPT225SGL0WW
Hi Josie, thank you for reaching out. The error codes E1 and E2 indicate issues related to water supply or drainage. We would suggest checking the water inlet valve first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the drain pump assembly, part number PS12582711. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Replace the filler/drain hose on a portable dishwasher
I followed a YouTube video except I didn’t take the cabinet off. It wasn’t hard to feed the hose through. Only needed a Philips screwdriver. GE needs a more durable faucet connection because that is the part that fails within 2 years.

While the dishwasher door was fully open, someone accidentally turned and tripped over it with much of their weight. Now the door won't fully close.
*UNPLUG THE DISHWASHER
*remove 2 mounting screws attatching dishwasher to underside of countertop.
*with the dishwasher door closed, remove left and right side hinge cables off pulley and hinge.
*fully open door and remove all perimeter screws except for 2 screws holding the latch assembly.
*carefully separate outer ... Read more door shell from door body.
*disconnect electrical clip from inside top of outer shell. Carefully set outer shell aside.
*each hinge has 2 Torx head screws and 2 Phillips head screws, remove these. You can now slide the door body out and away from the hinges and dishwasher.
*these hinges were slightly bent so I had to use a ball peen hammer to tap them off the post.
To reassemble, reverse these instructions.
