String does not feed. Why? New spool of line. Advancing mechanism is not clogged with clippings; it is able to move freely.
For model number GH400
Hi Michael, thank you for reaching out. Ensure the line is wound in the correct direction and that it's properly secured in the designated slots or cleats on the spool. You may need to re-install it to fix the issue. We hope this information helps!

I found this unit by the side of the road. One power input terminal was loose. Inside it was broken. Replacement was to remove the screws, pull out the wire, and cut the wire next to the terminal. I was able to strip the wire and crimp it in the terminal. I then soldered both terminals for a good connection.
