Washer model number:GFW148SSMOWW. Showing a code: FC1
For model number GFW148SSM0WW
Hello Mario, thank you for reaching out. Error code FC1 is the communication error between the main board (PCB) and the inverter board. Check if the wire connections between the main and inverter boards are loose. If this does not help, you will need to replace the user interface assembly, PS12723098. We hope this information is useful!

Machine will not spin dry
For model number GFW148SSM0WW
Hi Gilbert,
Thank you for your question. If the washer does not spin, we recommend checking the door lock, part number PS12710279, and the door strike, part number PS12723075. When checking the door strike check and see that it lines up with the catch on the door lock. If it is damaged, it will need to be replaced. The door lock contains a switch that will send a signal to the electronic control board when the door is locked allowing washer to spin. If the door lock is malfunctioning, the door may not lock. To verify if the door lock is operating normally, you will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. You should receive a reading between 50 and 150 ohms. If you receive any other reading, you will need to replace the door lock. We hope this helps!

Are the parts listed for this model for the lower capacity unit? I think mine is the 2.4(?) load capacity, stackable unit.
I want to make sure I am ordering the correct parts for the smaller unit.

My washer is making a loud roaring sound during the spin cycle. It is not a high-pitched screeching, and it's not banging at all. The drum doesn't seem to be wobbling. I thought it might be a belt or a pulley, but I can't find those parts.
For model number GFW148SSM0WW
Hello Tim, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the tub bearing to fix the issue. The tub bearing for your model does not come separately, and it comes as a part of the rear tub assembly, part number PS12730587. We hope this helps.
