Washer will not start …it just keeps blinking and beeping 3 times
I disconnected and reset power and it goes back to flashing with 3 beeps
For model number GDT225SSL0SS
Hi Gary, thank you for your inquiry. The three beeps mean that your dishwasher does not think the door is shut, and that is why it won't run. The door latch, part number PS12582696, has most likely failed and needs to be replaced. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Is there a replacement part available for the lower door gasket?
I don't see it labeled in any of the schematic diagrams.
For model number GDT225SSL0SS
Hi George, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the lower door gasket does not come separately. It comes along with the inner door assembly, part number PS12582793. We hope that helps!

fuse blown now ,smelled like plastic melting on last cycle drying ..Where is the heating element
For model number GDT225SSL0SS
Hello Ron, thank you for the question. This model has a 1100 watt calrod heating element. It is integrated into the wash pump assembly, part number PS12582713, of your dishwasher. This model also utilizes condensate drying. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm, humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. We are sure this will help!
