made TWO (2) parts orders one (1) for latch, (1) for the Spring. Using a dinner knife I removed plastic cover on inside door to inspect the spring and latch. Read moreanining area I determined that a home fix was possable with 1/16 inch diam. piano wire by bending a tight loop at top and hooked to spring, then pulling down to put tention on spring enough to keep latch in proper possion, I then marked wire and cut it and bent it in a hook and hooked it to a metal fin like brace, operated door works well. TOO MANY PLASTIC PARTS.

Tried to find a video specific to his model, but did not. I did the repair without removing the microwave door. Unplugged the microwave. Used a putty knife to pop out the 1st level internal plastic cover. Removed the 4 screws on the 2nd level plastic cover. Used a couple of flat-head screw drivers to pop the 2nd level cover away from
... Read more the clips holding it on until I had room to slide the old latch off. Slipped on the new latch. Popped on the 2nd level cover and 4 screws. Popped on the 1st level cover. Plugged in the microwave, worked perfect.
Just take your time and be careful not to break any of the plastic clips on the 2nd level cover. I didn't break any, but if you're to rough could see someone breaking them.
