Oven will not heat. Neither heating element bake or broil will heat. Do I need new heating element or could a sensor of some kind be preventing the elements from heating?

Hello Dan, Thank you for the question. With both elements not heating it could be one of two parts. The Oven Sensor or the Control Board. You can test the Sensor Probe to see if it is defective. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the Sensor is good, you will need to replace the Control Board. We hope this helps!
Removed the oven door by opening slightly, then pic door up to remove. Remove 2 screws holding oven sensor in place, gently pull on sensor to remove, had to remove about 8 inches to get at plastic connector. Unplug connector, had to use an adapter cable supplied with the PartSelect kit to install new sensor, push cable back into opening,
