Saw would run with Fuel Sprayed into Carb. & quit, not pumping Fuel, Rebuild CRB.
Problem was how to remove Carb. from a 37 year old chainsaw and not destroy Carb. Housing in the process. The John Deere 80EV chainsaw was made by Echo and was a CS750EVL model in 1978-1985. The Carb. is in a plastic housing with access holes for fuel line, choke rod, throttle linkage, high speed & low speed needle adjustments and Idle

adjusting screw. After removing the obvious, the high and low speed needles were to long to clear the housing. Had to remove the rubber grommet seal that closes the stop of the plastic housing and gives access to the top slots in the high & low speed mixture adjustments. That is the "secret" in how to get to the carb. so you can rebuild.
