We purchased this freezer yesterday. Set it up and left it for 24 hours then tried to get it to start. The interior light is on but it will not start cycle. Tried numerous three second holds. Still nothing. Any suggestions??

Thank you for your question. If you have waited 24 hours and you have just plugged the freezer in, it may take 4-12 hours for it to reach the correct temperature. If it has been more than 4-12 hours since you have plugged it in, you will need to contact the company you purchased it from to see if they can repair or replace the freezer for you. Freezer control unit will play musical tones at random times. What does this mean?

Hi Dean, thank you for reaching out. It may indicate that the freezer door has been opened for too long. You may need to check the door switch first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the control board, part number PS12728626. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
An easy job for smaller hands. Removed the two bolts holding the light cover. Removed two electrical connections from the old switch by pinching the retaining clip,removed the switch, snapped in the new one and re-attached the connectors. Once I saw the replacement part I understood how to pry out the switch with a small screwdriver. Then just unplug the old one, plug in the new one and pop it into place.
