What is proper wattage for the light bulb under the microwave? The bulb that i am replacing says 25w, and lasted me one year. I put a new bulb in, 25 w, and it blew out the next day. I bought another bulb, but don’t want to put it in until i figure out why the last bulb blew out in a day. The blown out bulb has bluish gray discoloration inside of it

Replaced the intake grille. The grille should be removed prior to cleaning. The entire part is plastic and easily broken so that the two tabs for the mounting screws are shattered and will not hold the part in place. If one attempts to clean the grille using only a moderate amount of pressure with a cloth the fragile plastic will break

The nightmare was that this microwave is installed under the cabinet....in order to get to the light bulb I had to pull out my stove then squeeze into the space between the stove and counter....my old microwave light bult was much easier to change.....Shame on Whirlpool for making this so difficult.....must be a better way to cover the li
