Icemaker quit releasing ice from tray and water was pouring and freezing in ice storage bin
This couldn't have been easier. Two tiny screws in the front needed unscrewed, and then two plastic clips in the middle just had to be popped lose. Finally, you unplugged the power cord. Then, you just needed to reverse the process by plugging the new ice maker in, popping the clips in place, and screwing the two holes back in and turning the whole thing on. Voila! Perfect ice cubes again. And for only a little over $100.

Icemaker flooded the storage container box for cubes. Then froze solid.
Ordered the Part after looking at the choices shown, once I inspected the unit. I then knew by looks what would fit. THEN (important) went on Utube asking for video instructions. They had it on the computer and it was just too easy. What took the longest was the removable of the frozen food items and the drawers in the Bottom Freezer section.
Perfect product, perfect instructions, perfect job and worked perfectly!

Fridge only 18 months old too!

Handyman wanted $457.00 to do the job! HA.

Broken Left Door Shelf
This is an exact replacement. Be aware that the left door and right door have differently shaped shelves, so you need to make sure you are buying the correct part for the left or right door. Remove food items from shelf, pull straight up and discard broken shelf. Insert new shelf onto the same door nubs and push down. Place food items back into shelf. Now warn family members in the future not to the slam door into oversized food items placed in the shelf!

The shelf on our refrigerator was cracked so I ordered a replacement.
Some have said that the installation took 5 minutes. Mine took less than that, and I did it with one hand. I had a beer in my other hand.

Original Pullout Drawer damaged over time.
All I had to do was remove original Pullout Drawer that holds the ice cubes from the bottom ice machine. Replaced the old Pullout Drawer
with the new one. Original tray pulls out to it's stopping point and all I had to do was lift it up and pull it out. The New tray fit right in and I was done. Completed in less then 5 min. and No tools needed.

The refrigerator crisper door cover cracked. It no longer held up a glass tray. So it had to be replaced.
I started by emptying the food out of the refrigerator. Because of the placement of the refrigerator, it was hard for me to open the doors all the way, but I managed to remove the vegetable drawer, the fruit drawer, the deli drawer drawer, and glass that goes in the tray. Once that happened, I realized my refrigerator was a biology experiment in progress.
Using my steam cleaner, I cleaned everything that I could and the refrigerator actually looked almost brand new.
I removed the deli tray to have more room to get the whole tray and side guides . Once you do that. the tray is actually very easy to replace. The guides were still in pretty good condition although I ordered one more because it did have a small crack and eventually it will break.
You remove the three guides (left, right, and center) from the old tray and attach the new tray fram.
Sounds Easy, right?
It takes a bit of finagling because " the magic tray" which is part of the vegitable drawer has to be placed before you put the right guide on. this process is a bit awkward. if you can get an extra hand, it helps. After that, it was very easy to just put things back and I took this opportunity to clean the rest of my refrigerator and re-organize. I am going have to do this again because I have to replace the right guide, which has a crack, but so far it's working great it is not a problem. Nothing that a little duct tape can't solve until the real thing comes along. This project took longer than I thought it would. But that was primarily because I also cleaned the refrigerator, and put the right guide on before I figured out I had to put the humidifier cover in first. I think that's really the key step here.
I leave you with this: I researched how to find these parts and this site t was great. I can replace all of the hardware that breaks in my refrigerator for less than it costs to buy a new refrigerator. My friend felt I should just dump the refrigerator and start new. As other DIY people, that was like fingernails on a chalkboard for me. It's wasteful to the environment and economically unfeasible. So celebrate your project's end!
