Agitator not moving. Loud clicking sound click, click, click... error code f7e6. i took apart the agitator but all looked ok. help!
For model number 2DWTW4800YQ0
Hi Carol,
Thank you for your question. The F7 E6 error code means the main board has detected one or more of the motor lines open. Try unplugging the washer for 5 minutes to reset the washer and plug it back in to see if this removes the error code. If the washer did not reset after unplugging it, you will need to inspect the wiring harness connected to the motor to see if they are fitted correctly. If the connections are fine and do not look damaged, you will need to test the motor with a multi-meter to verify if it is working correctly. Disconnect the power source from your appliance before beginning as you will be handling electrical components. Remove the cabinet of your washer in order to locate and remove the drive motor. You will need to disconnect the wires attached to the motor in order to remove it from the appliance, do this by pulling on the metal connectors and not the wires. Set your multi-meter to the Rx1 setting. Test for continuity by placing the probes onto the terminals of the motor. You should receive a reading of zero or nearly zero. To test the ground connection, leave one probe on the terminal and place the other on the metal housing of the drive motor. You should not receive any reading from this test. If your readings differ from those described above, you need a replacement drive motor. The part number listed under your model number for the motor is PS11751071. To place an order for the motor you may order it either online, by visiting our live chat sessions, Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM EST, or by calling our customer service line at 1-888-738-4871 and anyone will be happy to assist you.

Lid Lock light blinking, machine will not start
A detailed Service Technician Service Manual is hidden inside the machine on the front panel. It is hidden by the bleach dispenser input. It gives a list of fault codes and instructions for calibration after repair, resetting fault codes, and a manual test mode for stepping the machine through each mode on command. The Tachometer faile
