Replaced pump but comes up with code F30 won’t let water in
For model number 11047532601
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question. The F-30 error code indicates a dispenser system error. This can occur when the linkage between the dispenser motor and the dispenser has failed, if there is a loose wiring connection between the central control unit and the dispenser motor, or if the dispenser motor has failed. If the dispenser motor makes a clicking noise when it turns or if it turns continuously, then it has failed and will need to be replaced. If the dispenser motor is fine and everything else checks out, then you will need to replace the central control unit. If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello James, thank you for your question. The F28 error code indicates a communication error between the control boards. Check the connections. There are three screws on the rear of the top panel that secure the top on. Once removed, the top will slide back and come off to be set aside. In the right front corner near the front control panel is the main machine control. Remove each connector, one at a time, and replace into the control. This will rectify any connection issue if there is one. Once each connector has been reset into position, remove the back panel from the machine to access the motor control board. Do the same for each motor connector. Plug the machine back in and see if the code returns. We hope this helps.

Water leak from bottom of door.
I discovered water leaking from the bottom of the door on our Kenmore front load washer. I did a little self diagnosis from the internet and found that this seems to be a common problem for front load Kenmore washers and that the ususal suspect is the large rubbery bellows. I examined the bellows on my washer and although I didn't find

anything wrong with it, I couldn't find any other likely causes. I shopped around and found PartSelect to be the cheapest for the replacement part. Removal is easy by removing the lower front panel with three small screws on the bottom front, then remove the very top panel and then the top front control panel and finally the door panel. the bellows are actually held in place with a spring loop on the outer and a screw tightener on the inner, both are fairly easy to remove and the bellows comes right off. For installation my best advice is to lube the bellows with a small amount of dishwashing soap in the groove that fits on the washer tub. This will help it slide into place and enables a small amount of sliding fine tuning once it is on. From there it is just a reverse of the removal.

Door latch module was defective
This model is a front-loading washer. The spring loaded retainer for the front of the boot must be removed, then the boot can moved to the side exposing the module. Remove the two screws holding the model, pull the model out, remove the three electrical plugs, then reverse this procedure to install new module.
