After i do a load of laundry sometimes the lid locked light stays on causing the machine to not move forward to do anything else. I’ve tried to push the start/pause button to unlock the lid or cancel but that doesn’t work either. We’ve been having this problem on and off for over a month now.

Is it necessary to replace the washer suspension rods, or are the suspension brackets the issue with the tub becoming unbalanced? The washer is 8 years old and this year it appears to be unbalance often on spins. The rods in the washer are 25 3/8" long is that the length of these suspension rods?

Hi Rocky, thank you for getting in touch. First, we would recommend making sure that the drain hose is not kinked or blocked. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the drain pump, part number PS11757016, as it is most likely clogged or faulty. We hope this sorts out your problem!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Replaced the 4 suspension rods/springs. Only disconnect and replace one at a time. The tub will fall out if you disconnect and replace more than one rod/spring at a time.
