Our ice maker has stopped. From troubleshooting, we think it’s the infared laser that needs to be replaced. Could you tell me what part number that is? I don’t see it on the online guide. Thank you for your advice.

Hi Tammy, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our research, your model does not come with the infrared laser. If your ice maker, part number PS11738120, has stopped making ice, then it needs to be replaced. We hope this sorts out your problem!
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
An easy job for smaller hands. Removed the two bolts holding the light cover. Removed two electrical connections from the old switch by pinching the retaining clip,removed the switch, snapped in the new one and re-attached the connectors. When aI received the hose adapter/connector, I inserted the 2 hose ends only to have water drip from the connection. I used a utility knife to remove an inch from each side, then reinserted the hoses. That made the differnce. Dry as a bone.
