Homelite Trimmer Grass Deflector Assembly

This grass deflector acts like a shield so that grass clippings are directed away from you and the surrounding areas while you are operating your trimmer. It is often located near the bottom of your trimmer, close to the cutting head. This assembly also includes the line cutting blade, which maintains the proper length of the trimmer line. If the assembly is cracked, bent, or missing, grass clippings may fly in unintended directions. This can be dangerous if your trimmer throws debris towards you or others nearby, so it is important to replace the damaged deflector. To replace the assembly, you will need a screwdriver to remove the flat washer, wing nut and, the hex screw from the grass deflector. Please be aware that this OEM grass deflector is sold individually.
