Water leaking into the tub when the washer was off. Also, automatic soap dispenser was not working.
One comment is that the valve assembly should come with hose clamps. I had to run out to the store to purchase hose clamps to reattach the hoses to each valve.

On our GE top load washing machine, we have a steady drip coming from the fill nozzle assembly in the center of the tub. This happens even then the washer is off. Is this likely a leaky water valve (6 solenoid, in this case)? Just need to replace the entire valve/solenoid assembly (along with new hose clamps)? Thanks very much.
For model number GTWS8655DOMC
Hello Greg, Thank you for the question. Yes, in most cases the valve is defective and not closing allowing the water to drip into the tub when not in use. The valve will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

I was running a basket cleaning cycle today and started getting a humming sound along with an "h2o source" alarm near the end of the cycle.I've checked both the hot and cold water supply lines, and both are clear with good pressure.I've plugged and unplugged the washer three times after waiting several minutes between tries and the alarm and hum will not clear.Am I looking at a failed pressure sensor, water inlet valve, or none of the above? Thanks in advance, Nick.
For model number GTWS8650D0WS
Hi Nick, Thank you for the question. First I suggest checking any hoses for a blockage. Also check the water pressure house going to the water pressure switch for a leak or blockage. If everything checks out to be ok , the water valve may need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

What is the difference between the following hose clamps:
part #PS8688212 and part #PS8688213
For model number GTWS8650D0WS
Hello Fernando, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research both the clamps hold the end of the water hose in place to prevent the hose from leaking water, but goes on different hoses. We hope this information helps!
