I have a the handle replacement piece, and have taken the door off and popped the plastic cover off. However there are clips holding the metal cover (for lack of a better description) and after removing the 2 screws, cannot remove the "metal cover" to be able to access the screws for the handle.
Please help!

Hello Tara, Thank you for your inquiry. You can try checking to see if there is additional screws or you may need a putty knife or flat blade screw driver to remove the metal inner door. We hope this helps.

I purchased the top piece that the door handle connects to. However, the screw is loose so I cannot thread the piece onto the screw. Is there a nut or something that the screw should screw into?
For model number HMV3051U-01
Hello Joseph,
Thanks for your question. You will need to remove the inner frame and glass of the door to gain access to the top screw. There is no nut associated with the screw.
I hope this helps.
