My unit is not washing. The machine powers on, run time display counts down, and the water fills. There is no wash action, the soap dispenser opens, and then it drains and stops. Do you have any suggestions to repair this, such as the pump motor or control board?
For model number SHE47C02uc/40
Hello James,
Thanks for your question. Before replacing the pump or control board, consider examining the spray arms to see if they are clogged up. If those are intact, we would advise replacing the pump.
I hope this helps.
Dishwasher came on for a couple minutes. Then cut off. It smelled like the wires got hot. Very little water in the bottom. Could it be in the switch, the pump or the water valve?
For model number SHU33A05UC
Hi Virginia,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher works for a few moments and then shuts off, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the on/off switch, the door latch and strike plate, the electronic control board and the circulation pump. You will need to test the parts with a multimeter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Replaced the circulating pump with part # oo442548. Old pump only had two wires going to it. How do i wire the new one. Please help me.
For model number 63016302403
Hi Robert, it should wire the same way the old pump was wired. I would call the manufacturer to be sure as we do not have this information in our resources. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Dishwasher goes through cycle but does not drain the water. Would the problem be the sump pump? Filters are clean and hose to the garbage disposal are open.
For model number BOSCH FD880300343
Hi Don. Yes it could very well be a problem with the pump. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.

Put in new garbage disposal and didn't knock plug out. Hooked drain hose back up to disposal. Wife tried to run dishwasher and it pumped water into floor. Ever since then dishwasher is noisy i'm guess when pumping. Which pump is the culprit. It still empties but the last time we used it dishes weren't clean. Thanks.
For model number 630.16302401
Hi John,
Thank you for the question, if the appliance is still draining it sounds like the Circulation Pump, Part number PS8715481. This pump circulates the water around the dishwasher to clean the dishes and if it is not working it would not clean the dishes properly.
Hope this helps!

For model number SHE43M02UC/50
Hi Tom,

the dishwasher fills with water, nothing else happens until the end of cycle signal comes on.
For model number SHX43c02/26
Hello Michael, thank you for your question. We recommend checking to make sure your sprayer holes are not blocked. If they are not clogged with debris it could be your circulating pump. Part number PS8715481. We hope this helps.
