Both upper and lower ovens are not heating to the correct temperature. For example, if set temperature to 400 degree F, the digital display will show temperature at 400 F, but actual temperature is like 250F. Is there a common control board for both the upper and lower ovens?
For model number ps978st1ss
Hello Michael, Thank you for your inquiry. The user interface control board, PS5573482, is the one that sends the signals to the elements when you select the temperature. We would also recommend checking the temperature sensors in the upper and lower ovens, as well as the wiring between the elements, sensors and the control board for any visible damage. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good Luck with your repair.
