While using oven I heard a pop sound come from top control area. Panel started to beep and showed f1 on display. Cleared with clear off button but within seconds f1 and beeping started again. Could not get any control buttons to work. Do I need to change the whole control board? There does not appear to be any burnt looking areas on back of control board. Also did not smell like anything burnt.
For model number PFEF375CS
Hello Holly, Thank you for the question. This woudl indicate the Electronic Control Board, PartSelect Number PS444421 has shorted out and will need to be replaced. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!
