Our dishwasher stops shortly after beginning cycle,with lights flashing on the control panel. Soap dispenser has not opened. Is this a control panel issue?

Hi Dale,
Thank you for your question. It could be your control board that is the issue but I would suggest checking your door latch first. Sometimes the door latch will fail during the cycle and the machine will believe that the door is open and stop. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My dw80j3020us won't start. Can power off and on and all buttons will light and I can choose a wash cycle but when I hit start, I get a single short weak beep and nothing happens. Replaced door latch but no change. Occurred after clogged sink... may just be coincidence. No standing water in dishwasher

Hi Jeff, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, it seems like there is a problem with your electronic control board, part number PS11720392. If this does not solve your problem you need to check the main PCB assembly, part number PS11720391. We hope this solves your problem.
Yesterday my coffee maker overflowed and the coffee must have leaked into the front of my Samsung dishwasher. Right after this happened the heavy cycle button won't go off and i can't turn my dishwasher off. If i push the power off button the dw will go off for a second and then go right back on with the heavy button lit up. I have to unplug it to turn it off. The dw stays on even when the door is open. Do i need a new control panel?

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. You would need to replace either the control panel or the main control board as they may have gotten a short. You can test both of these with a multi-meter. Hope this helps!
