Hello Carol,
Thank you for your question. The freezer gasket under part PS9492371 and the refrigerator gasket under part PS9493819 do not need any additional parts to install, they just wedge into the frame of each door to install. We hope this helps.

Hello Alejandro, thank you for your question. If your refrigerator does not cool then the issue is probably with the Defrost Thermostat, part number PS469510. If that does not take care of the issue, then the problem is most likely to be related to the Cold Control Thermostat, part number PS8769007. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
The refrigerator light does not turn on when door is open. I have removed the bulb and placed it in a lamp socket and it does light up whrn power is turned on.
I suspect the light switch is not making the proper connection.
Is the light switch a difficult replacement? Where can I obtain a new switch?
Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Robert, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the door gasket first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12728811. It circulates air through the fresh food compartment for efficient cooling. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
This was the second part I tried. The defrost timer was first, but that did not fix it. To do this I had to remove the ice maker and the back plate of the freezer. Then I defrosted the coil and cut the wires. stripped them back and installed the new thermostat. re-assembled and tested. has been working great ever since.
I unplugged the refrigerator, then opened the door and removed four screws holding the plastic electrical panel to the interior top of the main refrigerator compartment and noticed the cold control was corroded badly, apparently from moisture in the panel. I ordered a new one from partselect.com. When it arrived the next day, I then pul

I then reversed the process to install the new thermostat and control. That is repositioned the thermocouple wire, put the insulation blocks back to hold the wire, then replugged the three electrical wires, clipped the control back and pushed the control knob back on and finally screwed the panel back to the top of the main compartment and plugged the refrigerator electrical cord back in to provide current to the refrigerator. It immediately started up and ran fine. Total time - about 8 minutes.
