No spark, spark when hooking drill on flywheel. Replaced coil, plug, flywheel, wire.

Hi Verne, thank you for reaching out. We have researched and found that the issue is most probably related to the ignition coil, part number PS9482922. If the ignition coil is already changed, then check the air gap between the flywheel and the ignition coil; for this, use the feeler gauge. Also, check the wiring of the ignition coil and install it properly. We hope this sorts out your problem!

I have a problem with the starting, when I start the chain saw I have a problem pulling the rope it seems that with every pull I have a block that stops me from making a clean pull. its as if there is an air block that stops me from completing the pull to start the saw.

Hello Hank, thank you for contacting us. Make sure your fuel filter, part number PS9285148, is clean, you are not using excessive fuel, and you do not have a dirty carburetor. If it does not help, you will need to check the starter pulley kit, part number PS9483168, starter recoil spring, part number PS9482322, and spark plug, part number PS8996057. My chainsaw starts ok and will idle but as soon as I try to throttle up it dies. It's as if the throttle trigger is a kill switch. Any ideas ?

Rope pulled out and didn't retrieve
Pulled rope pull assembly housing, 4 screws and removed center screw that holds the eps plastic gear and spring was under neath that and it was bent out of shape. Important part is install new spring with yellow painted end outward , toward housing! Lucky I bought two??

The saw started running too fast on idle and was over revving under light load.
I tried a few adjustment on the carb jets and the idle speed but it got worse. I opened it up and discovered that the carburetor was loose and the engine was sucking air at the carburetor mount.
