I'm having a problem with ice maker and water dispenser. Every 3 to 5 weeks my refrigerator will stop making ice and the water dispenser stop putting out any water. After i unplug it from the wall outlet for a few hours and plug it back up it starts working normal again. What would you advise as a trouble shooting start to figure out the problem.

Hello Maxwell and thank you for writing.
We would suggest starting with making sure your water filter has been replaced lately and you used an OEM Filter PS8759230. After that it could be a matter of the lines freezing, try to keep the temperature setting a touch higher and see if this fixes the problem. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

When I open the door all of the led lights just flicker
For model number KRFF507ESS01
Hello Daniel, Thank you for the question. Normally this is an indication the Refrigerator LED Light will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
Hello, My refrigerator quit working all together today just as I opened the door. There is nothing working like it lost power. I checked the breaker and the power outlet and I have proper 120ac at the outlet and even tried a different outlet that I verified also was also working with a different appliance. It looks like either an in-line fuse has gone or the power supply board may be bad but found anything to indicate an issue on the main (or any other PCB) in the refrigerator. All caps, resistors and even surface mount components visually look OK. Is there a common problem with this refrigerator that would cause this type of issue? Before ordering the power supply I'd prefer to know if I'm on the right track. Thank you.

Hi Cameron, thank you for the question. No, it is not a common problem. Based on the description you have provided, the issue could be with the power control board, part number PS11737859. It activates components such as the compressor and fans to keep the refrigerator cool. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
The vent at the bottom of the fridge part, behind the wide beverage tray always frosts up all the way across. We have defrosted it 2 -3 times in six month. What is the problem?

Hello Brenda, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Defrost Heater. Remove it from the appliance. It should be reading anywhere between 0 - 50 ohms to be working. We hope this helps!
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy.
... Read more called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
