My machine wont spin and drain, I already change the belt and it make a whurring sound.
For model number GWT460AW
Hello Carlene, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Drain Pump. If the Pump is not operating it will not allow the tub to spin. We hope this helps!

Why doesn’t the cold water run into the washer at a normal speed?
For model number GWT460AW
Hello Teresa, thank you for the question. We would recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS12582943, to fix the issue. It controls the water flow into the washer. Glad to be of assistance!

The water stopped draining.
I emptied all the water with a cup and laid the washer down on its back on the bathroom floor, ( it is a portable), with a few small pots and rags handy to collect water, just in case.
I inspected the placement of the broken drain pump, I took photographs of all the wires placements and screws. I removed the broken drain pump pho ... Read more tographing each step, then attached the new drain pump following each step in reverse and attached the 2 colored wires to the remains of the colored wires attached to the washer. I used electric tape to isolate and cover completely the exposed wires parts i joined. I then screwed everything back in place. I put the washer upright, connected the electrical cord and did a test. It is working great, and the water is draining well! It took me over 30 minutes, as the space under the machine, where the drain pump lodges, is quite tight and I needed a flash light.

Washer wouldn't drain.
Lifted up the washer from the bottom. Accessed the pump, unscrewed the motor and pulled off the rubber hose attached to the pump using a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench.
Reattached the hose and the mounting screws. Worked just fine.

Off balance tub made banging noise during spin.
Washer was making loud banging noise during spin cycle. I noticed that tub was off center within washer housing while turned off. Removed top and checked for springs used to hold tub centered in the housing. Found one spring loaded support rod (Dampin)that had a broken spring. Due to two different part numbers, PS4125965 and PS4125966 it

required considerable time to order the correct part, no parts supplier was aware of the reason for two part numbers. I had to contact the engineering department of Haier to fine the correct item, one number is for the right side the other number for the left side of the washer tub. Part snaps in place in upper corner of the washer housing and in a slot at the lower edge of the tub. No tools required to install Dampin just a screwdriver to remove top of washer. Parts arrived two days after ordering, very good service.
