I had a shear pin on the main auger shaft shear and wanted to know if there is a known way to get the sheared pin out of the shaft with out tearing the whole front end apart ?
For model number 536887992
Hello Ken, thank you for contacting us. You can easily replace the shear pin on the auger shaft without opening the whole front end apart. Move the throttle control to the stop position. Disengage all controls. Disconnect the spark plug wire. Make sure all moving parts have stopped. Unscrew the nut on the other end of the shear pin and remove the shear pin. Align the hole in the auger with the hole in the auger shaft. Install the new shear pin, part number PS9894323. We hope this solves your problem!
